Sgt. George shows a $20,000 sign-on bonus visual.

Sgt. Jonathan George, Army National Guard Recruiter for Hawkins, Hamblen, and Hancock County, recently called on PAS. Sgt. George introduced PAS students to availabilities of serving the country through a one weekend month training as well as two full weeks each year after the complication of basic training.
The rewards Sgt. George mentioned to our student included free college through the GI Bill and a $20,000; sign on bonus intrigued several of our students. He told students the sign-on bonus was split upon length and times of tour completion.
Sgt. George also discussed the GI Bill. He said that colleges, private or public, will accept the GI Bill; therefore, one can attend a college of choice. Sgt. George had students complete a survey to see if any of PAS students would be interested in the military.
